Ogham is the Celtic Alphabet, which relates to specific trees. The Celts used to leave each other messages on standing stones and trees written in Ogham characters. In teams children have to find Ogham signs on trees on laminated cards laid out in the woodland. In groups, they are then given messages in Ogham which they have to decipher using the Ogham alphabet.
What you get in this game is a copy of the Ogham alphabet laminated, with a photo of the relevant tree. A series of A5 laminated sheets with individual Ogham characters on, which are hole-punched and strung, so these can be placed on individual trees (if you have a newly planted site, then these sheets can just be placed on any tree). There are ten A4 laminated sheets with messages written in Ogham which people have to decipher, by finding the individual sheets.
