The Creative Health Environ Partnership: Delivering Health in the Environment

Growing medical evidence and our own experience of years of working with people in the natural environment has shown that peoples health and mental wellbeing improves if they have access to the countryside, helping to prevent disease and speeding up the process of recovery from illness.

To address these issues, Dr Maryanne Freer, Lorraine Weeks and Emma Boor have teamed up to provide consultancy in delivering health in the natural environment. This includes engagement and partnership working with the NHS, health professionals and environmental organisations. The team provide specialist expertise in working with a wide range of organisations including GP's and Primary Care, Public Health, environmental organisations, community groups and NHS Commissioners.

Lincolnshire Limewoods

The Woodland Trust has purchased over 200 acres of land for woodland planting close to Wragby in Lincolnshire in the Lincolnshire Limewoods area. Weeks Environmental is helping a wide range of groups to access this land and adjoining Forestry Commission land, and is tailoring trips to the woods to suit the needs, interest and abilities of these groups.

If you are a community group in the area, do get in contact and join us. Read this flyer.
